DECOMA, acting with the City of South Pasadena,
is revitalizing part of downtown. The project includes improved public parking, shaded
gathering spaces, and pedestrian-friendly pathways. Several new structures will provide additional retail, indoor
and outdoor dining, residences, and offices to the area. And, to further enhance the Downtown experience, a façade improvement program is planned for existing buildings within the redevelopment zone – including the historic
Rialto Theatre.
